Yippee!!! which means our next challenge, but before I tell you all about it I want to announce that the lovely Karen won last fortnights challenge with her gorgeous knitted embossing flower card.
Thank you so much Karen for participating, please email me for your prize.
This week's challenge we are going with a sketch...
So, you can interpret the sketch in any way you like, a card, a scrapbook or journal page or whatever takes your fancy ~ You can flip the sketch, turn it, the sketch is just a starting point, the flower can be any embellishment or die cut. If you want to rotate the sketch that's fine too - as long as we can see the basis of the sketch in the final projects anything goes!
Please use at least one Paperbabe Stamps in your creations
you are welcome to combine with other challenges provided it's as similar to this as possible.
And now it's time to check out what the talented team created...
Made by Kerrie using Clear Stamps 'Mayleedee', 'Ribbed Background' and 'DesignA Knit' - I followed the sketch but added a scalloped edge die-cut and stamped the Pompom from the DesignA Knit set around the stamped Mayleedee which I have coloured using coloured pencils. The sentiment is from the DesignA Knit set.
Chris has made a gift box from a die cut. The background is stamped with the Ribbed Background, the Cumulus Background has been stamped onto the bottom layer of the panel and then I've stamped the sentiment label with the diagonal stripe pattern and the friend sentiment from the Fabulous set. I finished off with the circle die cut stamped with the large Pom Pom and yarn pieces from Design a Knit.
made by Lady, using Peony & Bud stamped 4 times clipped to create a 3D effect and mounted on foam. Colorized with Spectrum Noir and the sentiment from MayLeeDee kimono.
Kim interpreted the sketch slightly different, by changing the scale of the layers, the base layer is ribbed background heat embossed and inked as a resist. The circle is the ornate frame, slightly inked and distressed. The deer Kim stamped onto kraft and trimmed. The happy sentiment has been stamped onto wood paper and cut in a 'manly' ribbon.
