Introducing ~ Witch Pin Up & Prizes

Witch Pin Up
And lastly complimenting our Pin Up collection is this sexy Witch stamp set. She is aimed at the more 'grown up' audience. She will be available as a digital stamp for INSTANT gratification. The set will include various versions, with or without tattoos, just the torso for a great card topper and the faint outline for the no-line colouring as with all my digital stamps in fact I think I counted thirteen images! Hows that for choice?

The Details:
  • The digi will be available for purchase on Fri 10th Oct.
  • It will retail for £3.50
  • Witch Pin Up contains a total of 13 images, a black and white outline and a faint outline for the no line colouring technique. She has tattoos, a black cat, a broom, just the torso, all included.
Do scroll down to see how you can win the whole of this months new release...
Now onto some samples...
I've opted for the torso version, I thought she would fill a card front lovely.
But, then created a little easel card so I could add the sentiment without covering her up. The sentiment is from Dillon Batwings.
I have coloured her with copics (of course),
I struggled deciding what to do with the background but just went for a soft mistiness also using my copics!

Well, I hope you've enjoyed the week of releases, the new stamps will be available to purchase tomorrow yay! and now it's time to head over to see what our talented team have created!

WOW what a week I'm so happy you stopped by to check out the new stamps and if you leave a comment letting me know your favourite you have the chance to win the whole release!!!

Have a wonderfully creative day!

Introducing ~ Watercolour Alphabets

Thank you so much for stopping by, I see you all enjoyed the conkers and Spritz & Speckles sets yesterday well today I'm introducing another two sets but this time they coordinate very well with each other...

Watercolour Alphabet Caps
Watercolour Alphabet
Well we all love an alphabet stamp set in our crafting arsenal but I thought I would give this set a little extra...
So, the idea behind this was that the paint shapes are layered to give a watercolour effect. The large paint splatter works so well if spritzed with water then pressing the smaller 'inked' paint splatter into, this gives the darker inked edge that you will often see in a watercolour effect. Or simply wet your card first then stamp the paint shapes into for a soft blended watercolour. Each letter has it's paint effect version to use either alone or with it's letter counterpart.

The Details:

  • Watercolour Alphabets will be available for purchase on Fri 10th October.
  • Both sets will retail for £9.00 each or bundled together for £15.00.
  • Watercolour Alphabets contain a total of 77 images in the Caps version and 58 images in the other set. There are coordinating paint shapes for the letters and the numbers, there are various paint splatters to add the the watercolour effect. This will be a great set for all your alphabet needs with the added trend of a watercolour look.

Now, onto some samples...
For this card I was inspired by Jennifer's card here, the finish isn't as random or as watery looking and I would probably try wetting the card before stamping next time. I used the coordinating paint images for the watercolour look, there is a paint shape for all the images in the sets, some you may have to turn to use like the p & d. I first stamped the letters and hearts in pigment inks.
Then over stamped using the corresponding watercolour paint image I used distress inks, trying to match the colours as much as I could. I did need to second stamp some of them so they were softer in colour and look I didn't need a little jar of water or any additional water for this effect!

Next is just a simple gift tag...
This time I did wet the card a little by spritzing it with water, not too much just to dampen the surface. I then used the paint images in the lower case set with Adirondack dye ink so they moved better on the damp card.
I added a little knit detail to the bottom of the tag with the ribbed background in grey pigment ink. Then stamped the to, from in the same ink. I added a few extra paint dots with the dot stamp in the set and a mini heart in the corner. I think there is so much you can do with these sets.

Now check out what the Team created with these sets...

I hope you have that arty inspiration from the team and be sure to come back tomorrow for the last introduction this release!

Enjoy a wonderfully creative day!!!

Introducing ~ Completely Conkers and Spritz & Speckle Stamp Sets

Today I'm introducing two stamp sets...

Firstly Completely Conkers
It's that time of year, the season's changing and children are out collecting those wonderful nuts and leaves fallen from the trees. I loved playing conkers as a child in the school playground and I enjoyed showing my children how to play too.

This set includes everything you need to string up a conker or two. I believe they are called bullseye in other countries. There are 20 images in the set, a string which can be very easily shaped into a curve, three types of knots, a smashed conker with expression lines, mini versions of the large conkers and a few sentiments to complete the set.

The Details:
  • Completely Conkers will be available for purchase on Fri 10th October.
  • The set will retail for £9.00
  • Completely Conkers contains a total of 20 images, there are five conker versions, two mini, two large and one smashed. The solid 'conkers' can be stamped over with the outline 'conkers', there are endless sentiments when paired together. There's a horsechestnut leaf and a string with separate knots to tie onto.

Now, onto some samples...
I wanted to show the variations of the knots, they simply stamp at the end of your conker on a string, the string gets stamped the other side of the conker. you can turn the conker any way.
I stamped the solid 'conkers' word to complete the sentiment.

Next...
You might think this is familiar lol, I was inspired by the packaging of those well known chocolates... minstrels. I stamped the 'conkers' outline, then the leaves in autumnal colours. I then stamped the mini conkers in a balancing act.
I used a few darker coloured copic markers to add shadow to each conker, then added highlight with white posca pen. Then with this same pen I filled in the sentiment. I did try it with white embossing powder but felt the pen worked better this time.

Our next Stamp set is the Spritz and Speckle...
I have wanted a set like this for some time, I love the idea of having a spray ink the same colour as my stamping ink. It can look like airbrush when stamped. Simply layer up or as seen in my sample have fun kissing or adding misted texture to solid stamps.

The Details:

  • Spritz and Speckle will be available for purchase on Fri 10th October.
  • The set will retail for £9.00
  • Spritz and Speckle contains four images, the main spritz is quite large at 3" x 3 1/2", the are two spritzed ink drips to really add to the sprayed effect. I've also included a speckle stamp for added texture and painterly effects.
Now onto more samples...
Ok so now you're going to think I am completely bonkers sorry conkers for this next colour combination. I just had to go with it, the thought of girly pink glittery conkers seemed so fun and that is what the completely conkers set is all about!
So, I tried a different technique with this card, I inked up my ribbed background stamp in pink ink, then pressed the clean spritz stamp into it to then kiss the knit into that shape. Pretty pleased with the result, I did try it the other way of inking the spritz but found it didn't pick up the pattern as clear.

And Lastly...
I used the Spritz in the top left, as the undertone to the cluster of Autumnal leaves. The bottom right is just one stamped spritz with the 'Autumn' word stamped over.
I used the ribbed background to add texture to the base card and finished off with a little twine.

Ok so you've seen my cards now it's time to head over to be inspired by the wonderful team. Just click on their sneak peeks to be taken to their blogs...

Their Gorgeous Conkers projects...

Next their Spritz projects...

I'm sure you've been truly inspired and are already looking forward to coming back tomorrow for another introduction?

Until then enjoy a wonderfully creative day!!!
