It's hard to believe is February already and we're only getting to our first challenge of 2015... As many of you might know it's been a tough year for Paperbabe Stamps, but things should get back into a lovely routine, there are certainly new stamp designs on the horizon and plenty of challenges coming up.
Also, you'll be very pleased to know that Paperbabe Challenges will now be open to everyone, the prize will determine what they receive depending if they use paperbabe stamps in their projects. As usual you are welcome to combine with other challenges provided we can still make out the sketch.
Please be sure to link your project below for a chance to win Paperbabe Stamps Gift Voucher worth upto £20.
So, you can interpret the sketch in any way you like, a card, a scrapbook or journal page or whatever takes your fancy ~ You can flip the sketch, turn it, the sketch is just a starting point, the flower can be any embellishment or die cut. If you want to rotate the sketch that's fine too - as long as we can see the basis of the sketch in the final projects anything goes!
most of all have fun creating from it!!!
It's time to check out what the team has created...
Jackie has made a card using MayLeeDee - Digital image for papercrafts along with Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls spray
Kerrie has made a card using 'Mayleedee - Kimono' clear polymer stamp coloured using Alcohol Markers and 'Fabulous Everything' sentiment clear polymer stamp set - along with pretty papers, mirror board, pearlescent cardstock and an A4 embossing folder.
Chris is starting her 2015 Christmas cards early and still feeling wintery because of recent snow flurries. 'Snowman with scarf' seemed like the perfect choice of stamp which is coloured with pencils together with 'Peace, Love, Joy' and 'A lot like Christmas' to build the background paper using Luxe pigment inks. Lots of pearl pen and glitter jewels for snow adds a bit of sparkle.
Delphine has used the sketch on an art journal page featuring Mayleedee Rubber Stamp (also available as clear stamp and digi). MayLeeDee is coloured in Copics and Prismacolor pencils and the rest of the page was done using Distress Paints, Gelatos, Pitt Pens, stencils, and some stickles for a bit of sparkle.
Kim used the sketch quite literally she painted Little Red with watercolour to then mask before stamping Spritz & speckles in the background. Then she used the Large Peony stamp(will be on re-order soon) with gilding flakes for an interesting feature.
Have fun, the deadline for entries is 11th March, simply add your link to Inlinkz below... winners will be announced on our next Challenge 13th March. If you use paperbabe stamps in your projects you have the chance to win £20 gift voucher to use on paperbabe stamps, otherwise the prize will be £10 gift voucher.
Enjoy a wonderfully creative day!
HuGs Kim and the Paperbabe Team!
