Shop having a sleep... And a Freebie Yay!

Shop is Closed but it's only in Holiday mode, meaning I will be back on as soon as I'm organised, I decided I needed the time to stock take and find a little time to catch up on new designs, projects and the new home ed year starting in September. You can sign up for email notification to know when it's reopening.

So to cheer you up I have a little freebie...

I drew this some time ago as a gift for a friend and I'm so pleased I had scanned the line drawing in for future colouring fun!

This was the photo inspiration
and here's the drawing...
you should be able to right click and save as.
Here's my work in progress, I've used my copics to colour but as it was four years ago I can't recall the colours lol.
Then I framed it... Tada!

I hope you have lots of fun!
Enjoy a wonderfully creative day!

Introducing the Queen of Hearts

Queen of Hearts
Meet our new addition to our grown up digital collection, this beauty is inspired by the powerful Queen of hearts, complimenting the Alice in wonderland theme.

The Details:

  • Queen of Hearts digi will be available for purchase on Fri 14th August.
  • It will retail for £3.50(eu vat will be added at the checkout)
  • She is available as a digital stamp, she comes in JPEG & PNG format. I've drawn her large enough for you to print large OR scale down to a smaller size! I'm providing you with two variation images, one with a plain corset and the other with a rose pattern corset and their counterparts with the faint outline for the no-line colouring technique.
Now onto a sample...
She was calling to be coloured with copics, I've added a little heart to her face from the Kawaii Face stamp set.
I teamed her up with the looking glass patterned papers from Kaisercraft.
and these are the copics I used.

I would love you to pop by the rest of the team blogs and check out their gorgeous projects...

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing in our introductions today, they will be available tomorrow!

Introducing Paperbabe Stamps ~ Pixel Fun

Welcome to our first day of introductions, this set is sure to be fun...

The Details:
  • Pixel Fun Photopolymer Clear set will be available for purchase on Fri 14th August.
  • The set will retail at £14.00
  • Pixel Fun has a total of 38 stamps, There is a block grid to help with lining up individual pixels, a solid pixel block for larger backgrounds and four stamps of the solid block broken into parts to achieve the pixelated pattern. There is a long dashed line to help with building platforms, there are pixels in various block formations for endless building possibilities. I've included some iconic gaming images too.
There are so many possibilities with this set I can't wait to make, I have shown a little example of possibilities that I'm sure will suit any gaming friend, young or older.

I loved the idea of filling a whole background with pixelated design, which is where the block idea started, but if you're familiar with computer games you can see how well they adapt to all sorts of retro games. Some of the images are definitely 80's inspired but the simple pixel is well loved by all.

Now onto some samples...
I had so many ideas with these but not enough time to use everyone...
I thought it would be fun to gold emboss these characters,
the sentiment is built from Watercolour Alphabet.
And who can remember playing Pong? I've included numbers in the set which is a great idea to put the recipient's age.
I thought it would be fun to build a pixel cake, the grid was embossed in white, I masked the icing area after I stamped in pink to create the pixelated pattern. The sentiment is from Tree Hugs
This was so fun to create you could have any colour palette to suit the recipient. The sentiment is an art quote from our last release.
If you have children you will I'm sure be very familiar with these characters,
If you stamp the grid onto post it note you can cut out individual masking parts to help build these faces. especially for the eyes.
I had a go at a few other characters which would make brilliant magnets and cupcake toppers.
I couldn't resist another pacman inspired card, this time I've embossed the ghosts in colours and added their eyes with a black pen.

I would love you to pop by the rest of the team blogs and check out their gorgeous projects...

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing in our introductions today, I hope you're just as excited about this release as us!
We have one more introduction tomorrow so see you then!

Enjoy a wonderfully creative day!!!

Made a new baby card with a Adorimal digi and the Kawaii clear stamps

Made a mixed media large tag and used one of the brilliant new mixed media art quotes sentiments 'Art Risks' in red rubber.

Kim went cute overload by paper piecing her Adorimals character, she loves that you can play with the pose as the elements are separate for more versatility. The face was stamped using the Kawaii Face Set, the background using High in the Sky and the lovely sentiment is Best Version.

Delphine has used Mayleedee Red Rubber Stamp, stamped in Adirondack Cloudy Blue for a no-line look and coloured with a combination of Polychromos and Luminance pencils.
