Shop is Open for Business!

Hello Wonderful Crafters,
You will be pleased to know, the Shop is Open again...
This was the first time I've put the shop in holiday mode since I opened Paperbabe Stamps over two years ago, I think I needed the break but my mountain of jobs and creative ideas just didn't get the look in I had hoped. It takes way more time than I ever imagine it should lol!

So some other great news...
The October issue of Craft Stamper is out on Friday, I am loving the re-design. I have supplied some mixed media templates and coordinating stamps for the stamping contrasts feature. I know the subscribers have received their copies already, I'm still waiting for mine, eeeeh I can't wait to see what the other talented designers have created!!
For me I went for a mixed media block art piece and tag. I created texture with text stamp and oriental zen by pressing into the thick background paint. The sentiment was hand written on old book pages and I wanted to try something new... I ventured into melted beeswax and covered the finished piece for a different sort of look. It has a lovely creamy appearance and softens the details it was very fun to create, that I will definitely be trying again.

I used the short and fringe and head and torso templates...
The Doll face stamp set has other useful images in for great background texture, like the hearts, the pupil circle is great as well as the solid iris.

  2. Wonderful. I was wondering where your product will show up next. And now it's back at the Etsy store. You should take this opportunity to increase Paperbabe Stamps' presence on online media, while perhaps pushing your work into directions you have previously not contemplated. In any case, your store is back, and that's what matters.
