Terri then added a art quote using the Light from within stamp and placed a few gems.

Kerrie created her Art Journal Pages using 'Mayleedee in Wonderland' Character & Sentiment red rubber stamp set, the larger rose and leaves from the 'Rose Border' red rubber stamp, and 2 sentiments from the 'You Quotes' collection 'Happy Soul' and 'Dreams Take You'. Then she coloured everything using her pencils, then handwrote the rest.

Watercolour Masterclass Published in Simply Cards & Papercrafts Magazine!!!

Well, if you haven't seen already Paperbabe stamps are in issue 152 of Simply Cards & Papercrafts, which came out in the shops Friday Yay, Thank you Aimes.

Here's a little sneak peek...

My feature is amongst some awesome designers... mine's the Wonderful watercolour masterclass starting from pg 45. and there's fabulous Build-a-bike die & stamp set cover gift!

I had so much fun using watercolours and resists, there's a mixture of techniques and step by steps... I even had a go with the Prima Marketing paintables paper.

We didn't include the next two cards, I had made more than I needed to lol...
I love this card, I've used micro glaze through a stencil before adding a watercolour wash, I love the softness and I had a thing for heat embossing on vellum too, I love the effect of the words, the flower and the butterfly on the vellum.

This one is hard to see the masking under the butterfly wings, it sort of gives them a glow.

I've used my Birthday Wishes and Butterfly Pieridae sets throughout the whole masterclass, which are being offered to one lucky reader too Yay!

I hope you get your hands on a copy, it's a great read... and very inspiring!

We will be back on Friday for our next Paperbabe Stamps Challenge,
hope to see you then, enjoy a wonderfully creative day!

Mixed Media Card Art Published in Craft Stamper Magazine!!!

While I have a moment, I just wanted to mention that Paperbabe stamps are in August's issue of Craft Stamper magazine, which came out in the shops Friday 1st July, Yay, Thank you Trish.
I'm amongst some amazing designers in this lovely issue.
This month is a special Card Making issue! Showing you how to translate all those mixed media techniques to cards, so every feature in this issue has at least one card example for you to see!
My feature was the Card Art starting from pg 60.
I have a step by step tutorial showing how I colour hair using copics, I created a few mixed media cards, I use coloured pencils for the faces and copics for their hair and as this little card wasn't in the issue I can share it in blog land...
The face is using the lovely female face stamps and my mixed media templates for the Girl and her hair.
And I am loving my butterfly set, I think they just add that bit little extra, I did consider stamping them as part of the image but realised that colouring around something so small would be a tad trickier, how easy to simply trim them.

copies of the magazine are available here:
Digital copies are also available here:

AND
I have a giveaway in the magazine too, all the Paperbabe Stamps products used in the feature is offered to a lucky reader.
How exciting!

Mid Challenge Inspiration...

Good Morning the lovely Kerrie has made a beautiful project for our current challenge to help inspire you.
There's still time to enter as it's running until the 8th July...

Kerrie
Kerrie picked out the colours for her Project and coloured chosen Paperbabe Digital stamp 'Beach Babe Pin-Up' using my Copic Markers. I really enjoyed colouring this Beautiful image 'Beach Babe Pin-Up (Halter)' in Faint Line. I love using faint line Digi Images as it gives the no-line effect. I absolutely adore her hair so much detail makes for fun colouring. The Sentiment I used is a 'You Quote' red rubber stamp 'Be the Best Version of You'.

Enjoy a wonderfully creative weekend!
