New products are in the Shop... YAY!

Good morning driving at a slow pace today,
I've just finished uploading the new goodies to the shop...
before you head there I wanted to show a few step by steps using the new stencils...
There are two checkerboard stencils available, 7mm and 1cm
Firstly I positioned my template over the cravat securing with a little tape,
then I layed the smaller checks over the template at a slight angle,
I used a make up sponge with distress oxides, I like the finer texture you get with the type of sponge.
I then lifted the stencil to change to angle for the remainder of the cravat
then sponged a little ink from template to give shadows to the tie, I used a slightly wet paintbrush and same ink to give further definition to his tie.

So for the background...
I used the duo two step stripes and gears stencil
First layer
second layer
I covered the base in acrylics then used distress stains for the brassy colour through the stencil
Moving it to repeat the pattern.
The next step of the stencil defines the gears
