  • Please check the Paperbabe Stamps blog on Wednesday, 28th Feb to see if you are one of our lucky winners.

Here's a sample from me...

I started by stamping the layered roses onto a wooden block, I used neutral colours, a couple of distress oxides and black for the fourth step to give real depth.
I stamped the outline image onto postit note to use as a mask for the other roses and the leaves.

I drew my white rabbit in pencil and stamped the rabbit face. I used a white stabilo pencil to get a base of white colour onto the rabbit head, I used a red stabilo pencil for the pinky parts, on his cheeks and ears before going in with a white posca pen for the fur details.

The background I wasn't sure would work this well, I used my neocolor II crayons and water to blend and merge the colours.
I used Acrylic glazing medium over the background so it would become waterproof so that the white posca pen would show up and not disappear into the background.

Today, we’ve enlisted some super talented designers to inspire you with ideas on how to use these beautiful new stamps and templates! Hop along for lots of fun and inspiration!

Here is the entire blog hop line-up so you don't miss a single stop...

Have fun on the HOP!
Enjoy a wonderfully creative day

Now, let the team's fabulous interpretations inspire you...

Lozzy has made her card using one of the digi image called Valentines Pin Up. On the background used Mixed Media Herringbone Stencil with textured paste then for the strip near the bottom used one of the stamps from the Pop Dots Stamp Set. To finish off used Your Special stamps from Just Because Stamp Set.

Alysha has made her card using the torso stencil and added the hair freestlylish. She has stencilled in the chevrons in the background, some washi tape and matted with some inky sprayed card. She has created some decorated hearts too. She had created the face using the female face stamps and added the star stamps to the jumper

Terri used the newly released White Rabbit template and Face stamps to create her main image. The background details were added using both the Herringbone stencil and elements from the Designa tweed stamp set. The sentiment is where your dreams take you. Lastly Terri added some roses using the Rose layers stamp set. The colour came from a combination of Neocolour II and Coloured graphite pencils.

Beata used huge Whimsical Woodland Stamp Set to create clean&simpe card with small animals, flowers, trees and Happy Birthday sign (all You can find in one set). All stamps gently coloured by watercolours.

Influenced by the Celebrations of Chinese New Year, Tracey has used the Bottle of Stamp Set along with the co-ordinating Bottle of Stencil and small elements from the Bottle of Substrate Kit along side the Oriental Zen Stamps to create her project full of Luck and Love.

Kim was inspired to create this piece in celebration of the Chinese New Year. She used the Blunt bangs Long with the head & torso mixed media templates, with of course the female face stamp, having rekindled her love of copics coloured away, stamping her kimono using the Oriental Zen Stamp then adorning her hair with the large Peony & Bud flower.

Chris made a card using the with one of the new mixed media templates Cat Sitting Portrait and the Cat FaceRabbit Face and Ornate Crown stamp sets.

We have a guest designer joining us this week, please welcome Marianne
She created this wonderful journal page, using the profile mixed media templates, face stamps and winter fairy wings.

Paperbabe Stamps is in February's Craft Stamper Magazine!

Yay! Paperbabe Stamps is in the February issue of Craft Stamper magazine, I can't believe how long it took me to sort this post out, I was going to post this earlier but I've been busy designing new stuff eek... In fact their next issue is already out...

I am over the moon delighted to have my work amongst the amazing designers in February's Craft StamperThanks Trish

I had great fun creating my step by step canvas with a couple, using my templates and face stamps, the background was built up with paint and pastes using various stencils and I re purposed the large quote stamp so it had a slightly different meaning...

But I wasn't the only one showing some Paperbabe Stamps love, the lovely Terri, created a beautiful dimensional girl and the fabulous Kim Dellow used the cute Whimsical woodland.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your weekend,
hope it's a creative one, HuGs Kim x
